Most 5K races support a worthy cause of some type, and the Airport 5K is no different! All proceeds from the Airport 5K go to support the La Crosse Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol.
As La Crosse’s local CAP squadron, the unit is made up entirely of volunteers. These volunteers conduct search and rescue and disaster relief missions throughout western Wisconsin. Members also provide youth leadership development and help local school districts with STEM and Aerospace education.
